It’s back to work this week and most of us would have by now had our fill of mulled wine, mince pies, late night parties and those sumptuous flutes of champagne. Not that I’m complaining about good food and wine, but I’m beginning to feel like the stuffed turkey I ate on Christmas day. And my body's cursing me for not saying "NO!" to a third helping of Christmas pudding with that delicious Brandy Sauce.
I’m starting to feel a little worn out after the gastronomic abuse and lack of sleep of the festive period so as per usual I’m kicking of the New Year with my famous “I’m going on a diet” resolution!
