I am very proud to announce our new restaurant; “Beeches” was opened two days ago on 17th December. Monday was the only day we could find when we had a breather from the festive season, which is in full swing.
I can not quite believe it, looking back, that we even attempted to open a new restaurant at this time of year. Yet it all went off smoothly, minus the usual teething issues and they were dealt with surprisingly swiftly. That may have something to do with our contractors all wanting a peaceful Christmas and getting away for a well deserved break, so maybe this time of year was great planning after all.
“Beeches” is in tribute to a line of Beeches trees which secludes the restaurant and its private patio from the rest of our gardens. We are very proud of our gardens and the restaurant reaches out into its very heart. We have therefore taken inspiration from nature or rather our designer has and the restaurant has a very warm, earthy and neutral ambience and feels like it was always meant to be there.
The Bull Hotel plays host to many corporate guests midweek, with leisure and special occasion celebrations at weekends. Therefore our brief to our designer was our restaurant needs to be contemporary and swish enough for our fast paced corporate guests, yet beautiful and enticing enough for our special occasion guests. We feel he has achieved that and got it just right.
Part of the restaurant has glass screens that seclude the conservatory area which gives diners the feeling of being in a forest. Called the “Garden Room,” it was purposely built for private dinning and celebrations and is already in high demand.
Everyone at the Bull thinks the restaurant is simply beautiful and we really would like to hear what our guests think. Come and see for yourself, we can not wait to show you…
