The End of an Era!
It is with a great deal of sadness that The Abbey is bidding adieu to a member of the team who truly can lay claim to being a building block within this beautiful hotel.
Dot Turley has been with The Abbey for the past thirty seven years, and is currently our head housekeeper. Through her illustrious career at The Abbey; Dot has overseen our restaurant operations and our conferencing facilities; until she finally settled within the housekeeping department.
Dot has decided that now is the time to put her heart and energy into her grandchildren.
Thankfully for those of us that will miss her smiling face and hard work, she will still be visiting us on part time basis, so its not all sad goodbyes!
From all of us that have worked with Dotty throughout the years, thank you for all you have done for us and the part you have played in our lives, but we are glad that you will still be around!
