Dorney Lake

Dorney Lake is a world-class rowing and flat-water canoeing centre in a spectacular, 400-acre parkland setting near Windsor and just 15 minutes from The Bull in Gerrards Cross. It will host those events in the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012. Offering unusually rounded facilities, not only for sporting activities but for corporate and private hospitality through our in-house team throughout the year.

The tranquil setting and friendly atmosphere at Dorney Lake make the venue perfect for Team Building activities.

It has also hosted the first of three multi-national regattas for the Rowing World Cup 2005 and the Coupe de la Jeunesse 2005. In 2006 the World Rowing Championships have been held at Dorney Lake with great success. This annual event is the second most important in the rowing calendar after the Olympic and Paralympic Games.Boats to suit everyone from beginners to top-level athletes are provided at modest cost, as is highest-quality tuition. A fully-equipped gymnasium permits all-weather training and the ergometers (rowing machines) can be linked to a screen for indoor races.Eton College, a growing number of other schools and adult groups come to Dorney Lake for one of the best, all-round fitness activities.
