London is the dream city for many students, as well as for me. I am a student here, currently on an internship with Sarova Hotels at The Rembrandt. I am studying the AHLA course, which is an American Hospitality and Lodging Association qualification and my internship at The Rembrandt has given me a lot of practical experience which will certainly help with my future career. At first I thought it would be really hard for me to study and work at the same time, but so far it has been manageable.
When I landed in the UK a year ago, I was amazed by the crowd on the streets of London. This city works 24/7, which for me, is totally unbelievable. There are lots of tourist attractions in London but I think for me, the best part of London is just walking about on the streets and experiencing the buzz of being in this fantastic city. I love being in London, life in this city certainly teaches you a lot.
I have also visited Sarova Hotels in Kenya. The Whitesands Resort is located along the beautiful coast. I would also highly recommend doing an African Safari if you visit Kenya, it was an amazing and wonderful experience and definitely one I will never forget. The scenery in Africa is just out of the world, it is an exotic destination that is the perfect place to relax with plenty of water, sunshine and a lovely glass of champagne.
