St Patrick's Day 2008

Everyone loves the traditional celebration that makes up St Patrick's Day. This event celebrates all things Irish, with laughter and fun and not forgetting Guinness!

This year, the St Patrick's Day Parade will take place on March 16. The Parade will see marching bands from Ireland and the UK, community groups, sports cubs, schools and street theatre take to the streets of central London for a fun filled family spectacle. It starts at 12 noon and will follow the route from Park Lane to Hyde Park Corner down Piccadilly on to Regent Street by Trafalgar Square and dispersing in Whitehall Place, so if you're staying at the Rembrandt Hotel, make sure to have an early breakfast and get your green hats ready to join in on the festival activities.
The party will continue in Trafalgar Square with a stage showcasing the best of contemporary and traditional Irish Music, crafts and food. A 'mighty craic' is sure to be had by all!
