Stratford Food Festival 2007

Stratford-upon-Avon, a town synonymous with William Shakespeare, is much more than that. Set apart from its history, Stratford developed along the banks of the River Avon as a market town with more than 800 years of history. With many buildings that would have been familiar to Shakespeare, it is also a thriving community offering a wide variety of experiences.

This weekend Stratford will be celebrating their annual Food Festival. A colourful, fun-filled event for foodies and families, featuring an Italian market, French market, local Farmer’s Market, Beer tent, Emery’s Delicatessen CafĂ©, Dutch Pancakes, Baked Potatoes and many more opportunities to eat. There will be music and dancing (including the Mini Mezzos from ITV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’) and local hoteliers will be showcasing their talented Chefs, who will be cooking their signature dishes for the public to taste.

Date: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 28th, 29th & 30th September 2007
Time: 9am to 5pm each day
Venue: The Bancroft Gardens, Waterside, Bridge Street and Henley Street
