The Rembrandt's had a refurbishment!

If you've been to The Rembrandt in Knightsbridge, London recently you'll know that a lot has changed over the last couple of months. However if you're new to the hotel or haven't visited for a while, here's a run down of what's been done:

  • The lobby area has been given a lovely fresh look
  • The bar has been renamed 1606 Lounge Bar (after the year of Rembrandt's birth) and is now a very sophisticated area with lots of comfortable seating and subdued lighting
  • The restaurant which still has it's grand, high ceilings now has a much more modern feel
  • Many of the bedrooms have been completed. The remaining rooms are being finished in small batches to minimise disruption to current guests (the work only takes place during the day too)
